So I have this lunchbox full of fun things that have taken with me everytime I go Downtown just incase I run into an awesome sister missionary I know.
My sweetest roommate Leslie is serving a mission on temple square. Everytime we go down we try to find her with no luck, but Saturday, after a string of crazy events and nothing working out we were on our way to the ditribution center when we pulled into a parallel parking spot and I hear someone yell my name. Leslie is standing on the sidewalk with her companion! I jump out of the car with her package, what a miracle! It was so fun to see her and talk to her. She is so wonderful! But funny enough the distrubution center closed right when we got there!
This last week I gave a scouts group a tour of the news station. They touched everything, and I pretended like I didn't see. After that I went to a relief society activity, and when I got home Kyle was on the phone calling everyone to try to find me. I guess I forgot to tell him where I was going!
Wednesday night was our first and last game of region basketball. We played one of the singles wards in our stake, they were huge and very aggressive, I came away with a few bruises. They dominated us though 15-54. But I hit a 3 and a couple baskets.
Thursday night I took the twins and 2 friends to another chick flick. (I was really excited for it) It was ok but too predictable. I left my wallet with the tickets in it at moms, and my dad was nice enough to rush it out! Amy and Joni loved the movie!
Friday was the most beautiful day, perfect weather so we we got together with our friends and roasted hot dogs and played fun backyard games. I love being outside!

C is for Cheer, Cleaning and Champs
Last Sunday was General Conference and Easter Sunday. I don't remember them falling on the same day before, but I loved it. I was really touched by how much our wonderful prophets and apostles talked about how we are responsible for raising our families. One day when I am a mother I hope to earn all of the good qualities spoken of.
Monday was the Muse concert... enough said
Tuesday- We can't remember what we did... but it was hopefully productive
Wednesday- Kyle's parents came into town and we went with them to a cute little restaurant downtown called the Blue Iguana. Kyle and I shared the burrito grande, which is a 3 pound burrito, Kyle ate about half of it (1.5 lbs, Sick I know!) and I ate a small chunk and tonz of their chips and salsa (which Mike wasn't man enough to handle). That night Kyle woke up in the middle of the night to go feed the sheep at work.
Thursday- Kyle has a late class but he still made it to my basketball game. We play in regions next week, wish us luck! (and pray my huge bruise on my knee goes away)
Friday- We went with our friends Ben and Darcy to the temple, ward temple night was at 6pm, but were rebels and went to the 7pm session but for a good reason. We were asked (ok we volunteered) to help clean the temple. We were there from 9:45-1am. What a wonderful experience though! I would clean it once a week if they asked.
Saturday - Emily and Ryan just put their cute house in Payson up for sale, the whole family went down to help them get it ready and to assist Emily in throwing things away, or taking them to the DI (a HUGE problem for our family of hoarders). When I got home that evening we canceled all plans with friends to do some of our own spring cleaning and dejunking. I love organizing and we were able to get the kitchen cupboards re-organized. The only problem is they get cluttered up so fast! Kyle had more late night feedings. One at 4am. While he was gone I couldn't sleep, guess I just missed him and his warmth too much!
The Cheer story is my favorite. So my little sister Amy has been working so hard for the past year to try out for Murray High's Cheer squad. Joni and I have drilled her and made her practice in the front room count less times.
There were 60 girls trying out and 20 spots. I was so nervous for her I thought I was going to throw up... I couldn't sleep and when she called me Saturday morning to tell me she made it I started to cry! When someone you love gets something they have worked so hard for and totally deserve you cant' help but be so happy for them!
Amy's twin Joni was on the Cheer squad last year and Kyle and I enjoyed watching her at the Basketball games. This year we will get to watch both of them because Joni is a Spartonian (drill team) and Amy is on Cheer! Go Wouden girls you rock!

Muse
I was kindly given 4 tickets to the Muse concert the other night... Kyle and I took Amy and Joni.
the opening band was a little odd... and Muse had one song I knew (the one from Twilight). I wasn't really a fan, because you couldn't really dance to their music (the drunk girl in the next suite over figured out how to move to the music, but I don't like belly dancer moves) We had a suite mostly to ourselves and had a good time just goofing around!
