Church Activities Week!

Today is Saturday and Kyle is in his MCAT (med school test) prep class.  He just signed up to take the test in April.  It cost $250 just for the test!  He is working really hard though.  I have been cleaning like crazy (and getting rid of kyles stuff!)

This has been a really busy week.  Kyle is working in a research lab with little baby lambs.  He really likes it.  Monday night was presidents day.  I know we did family home evening, and we went to Woody's, with Oma and Opa.

Opa is just like a little kid.  He and Dad had a good time though.  Dad let Opa eat all of this fries.

Emily, Ryan and JuJu came.  Ryan had to leave to go to work and Opa kept saying, "where did the man with the long hair go?" no one knew what he was talking about.  Later dad figured out he was talking about Ryan, associating him with Emily's long hair.

Emily looks great.  She and I have become a lot closer, I just wish she lived closer!

Laura, JuJu and Whitney were running around Woody's when JuJu fell and her tooth went through her lip.  You know how mom freaks out when there is blood, everyone was running around like crazy!  Turns out it wasn't that deep.

Tuesday night Kyle worked till 11.  I was having a hard day, so I went to the library and got a few books and movies.  Then I made Kyle some tacos and I went to a dance class over at the Church.  The news station is re-doing the news set, which means we are getting kicked out of the studio for almost a month.  They aren't sure what they are going to do with my show!  It is really frustrating, because I can't plan ahead!

Wednesday night Kyle and I cooked up my famous Chicken Pot Pie.  I left kyle a little and headed over to a Relief Society activity.  We were doing an international dinner, but I couldn't think of anything Dutch to take, so I went with the Pot pie.  It was delicious if I may say so myself.

Kyles car battery died on Tuesday night when he left his lights on.  On Wednesday night we tried to jump it with my car.  No luck.  Kyle called dad and he came up the next day with his battery charger.  He drove the blue truck right up onto the sidewalk to get to Kyles car!  He said "I work for the district, I'm not afraid of driving anywhere!"  I fed him and Kyle  some Hawaiian Pork Skewers and rice.  He really liked it!

Thursday night I played ward basketball.  I am sure I told you Kyle is the referee for all of the girls games.  He does a pretty good job, but sometimes the girls get really angry when he makes calls.  He lets us travel a lot, because it happens a lot.  I am not that good at basketball, but I totally made a 3 pointer!

Yesterday we had Panda Express come and cook on our show, so I got to eat, and take a plate of it home to Kyle.  It's one of his favorite.  Our Christmas tree has been driving me crazy!  We just don't have room to store it, so yesterday Kyle took it over to Mom's.  I want her to have it.  Then she can get rid of her old tree.  We have had church activities almost every night, and Friday was no different.  It was the Stake valentines dinner.  They had Cafe Rio and the newly wed game.  Kyle and I played.  We only got 2 out of 4 questions right.  But we still took home movie tickets!  Here are the questions we missed.

"Which of the following cereals describes how your family felt about your husband the first time they met him  a.) frosted flakes b.) lucky charms c.) oatmeal squares"

"If you could get rid of one of his possessions, what would it be"  he put down anything football, I said his sponge bob square pants shirt!

That's our life!

Boat Show

On Friday night we got together with some of my cutest girlfriends and their families.  I made our favorite Parmesan Chicken!  The  Boys teamed up against the girls when we played a fun Scene it type of game.  Good thing Bekah was on our team she knew all of the answers!

Saturday was a BUSY BUSY day for us.

The bane of Kyles existence  is his Saturday morning MCAT Prep class, which is the same time as ward basketball.  Kyle woke up, got breakfast and checked the online schedule... and was surprised to find out he didn't have class that day, because of President's Day.  So then he checked the basketball schedule, no basketball, because of President's day.  I suggested we head over the regional volleyball game.  And when one of our cute ward friends called, we had to go!

We played until almost noon!  We were requited by one of the single stakes to play on their team! We had a blast with the singles!

It was also my mom's birthday so we stopped by my parents house to give her a gift and to wait for our friends to meet up with us for the boat show... We took the fam... and our friends Cindy and Ryan (we are family too, basically!) this is the one my dad wants to buy:
I think we look good in it!  Unfortunately we don't have 50k sitting around

Although Kyle did approve of the onboard toilet:

Later that night we had two of our friends over for a blind date.  One was Kyles mission buddy and the other a girl I used to work with.  I didn’t feel like cooking (and didn’t really have time) so we  made French Bread Pizza.  I found this huge pepperoni at the store and had to buy it!  We played some games and laughed the entire night!

Sleepover with CAVE MAN, or the Superbowl

I usually am pretty good about taking pictures... but I have to admit, when you are incharge of the behavior of 3 juvenile girls, that may or may not have a criminal record... taking photos is not the first thing on your mind.

Kyle and I promised my little sisters that if they were "good" we would take them up to Kyle's Family's house for the Super Bowl. If there is any Super Bowl party you want to attend, where you can stuff your face all day long, it is the Summers super bowl party.

Kristen was kind enough to let us join, and even let me bring a 7 layer bean dip. She out did herself this year and had food to feed a small army (or 4 wouden girls).

Mike was the entertainment. the girls called him caveman and basically laughed at everything that came out of his mouth (except that piece of turkey, that was just gross)

Mark and Jenelyn I am sure thought one Wouden girl in the house is more than enough, and didn't spend too much time with my sisters. But you have to understand that the girls are really girly girls, they dance, cheer, wear alot of make up and care what everyone thinks (in certain situations they do, other times they let it all loose).

Kyle was kind enough to play with us. We hit up what my sisters call the only hangout place in the whole town, the Bear River Bowl. Jenelyn and Mike rocked. I think that just the 2 of them beat the 4 Wouden girls and Kyle collectively! But at least we looked good doing it!

Kyle did a few barn checks, and re-lived his glory days of checking out sheep's butts.

We watched the first half of the game, and then the sisters and I learned a few new dances. We are actually pretty good (but really Amy needs to work on her shoulder movements)

We really wanted to practice stunting, but as it was Sunday, and the Summers don't have any vaulted ceilings, or gym mats we thought it wouldn't be the best idea.

The girls can't wait until they can come again. But after the loud and argumentative ride home, Kyle might not want to see them up there again.

Thanks Mumra and Pops for letting us invade your home, eat your food, and bring my stinky little sisters along for the ride (and another thanks, for not making me do barn checks!)

Kyle didn't ever write, So I am filling ya'll in!

As punishment for not writing our weekly update... kyle gets this picture of him posted!

We admit it... we are horrible bloggers and birthday rememberers (along with a huge list of other things, but at least we are CUTE!)

Kyle is in charge of remembering his familys birthdays, me mine. He B-L-E-W it and forgot about his Mothers!!! So we get a call a few days after the blessed event asking us if we would like to go out to dinner to celebrate! How can you go to dinner to celebrate your mother's birthday, after you never called her, tweeted or even facebooked her on the actual day??! Well we braved up, bought some really nice apology/birthday gifts and headed up to Ruby River steak house, where we were served by my ole college buddy Huu (who?) Mike and Mark had a good time with that one!

Here is Kristin in her birthday hat:

I hope we won't ever forget again!

((New story))

Kyle and I were good and went to one of our favorite places.. the temple. The best part is we get a treat afterwards. Kneaders carmel apple and cheesecake. Here is a picture of us eating it so you can all be jealous.

((New story))

There was a sale on Pepsi. I am not going to say how good of a deal finder I am and how much we got all of this for... but my mom will drink all $3.50 total faster than you might think. (oh yeah and kyle couldn't carry all of them, so just imagine one more, way better deal than you thought, huh!)

Thanks for watching!

Weekly Update

So I admit it... I stink at bloggin.  But we (yes, we Kyle) are going to try to be better.

One of Kyle's brothers and his family sends us a weekly email, telling us about their adventures and baby and such... but I thought it would be a better idea for us to put that "update" here, so  those that want to read it (no one but our genealogy crazed posterity) but then I get to kill 2 birds with one stone.  Family journaling, blogging and getting Kyle to write.  Ok so 3 birds.  You can't beat it!

The only problem is I swear I don't have dementia... but I am having a hard time remembering further than last night!

Sunday we went over to Grandpa's house... he was lonely so we took him some homemade enchiladas.  He was so cute, he raved about how good they were (they weren't my best). Of course he had me make him some Jello.  He watched his western show while I read a book.  I am pretty sure we both fell asleep and woke up several times.

Monday we did FHE and we might have watched an episode of life unexpected... but that is all I can recall.

Wednesday Kyle was able to play basketball with some of his buddies.  This year he is really bummed that he can't play Ward ball on Saturdays because he has a class... so Wednesdays are a nice break for him.

Thursday night I did Visiting Teaching interviews the whole night.  As I was walking to my first appointment I saw Kyle walk into the apartment and   I didn't see him until like 9 that night. Not sure what he did but I bet it was productive.

Friday we had our friends the Staggs over for dinner and games.  They have the sweetest little baby named Charlotte.  They kept apologizing for her crying but really it didn't bother me at all!  Kyle and Brian talked about medical school literally the whole night!  I loved it.  Free counseling!

Saturday Kyle was in class until noon.  He locked his keys in his car so I had to go fetch him.  When I gave him a key, I also gave him a hide-a-key so he will always have a key handy!
After lunch and cleaning up the house a little we went over to my parents house.  My dad called to tell Kyle to come over for a T-bone.  Kyle and I ran a few errands while we were in that area and got some great deals!  My parents drink a lot of Diet Coke and/or Pepsi.  Don't worry we bought them 7 12-packs for $3.50!
That night we went to dinner with some friends.  They chose Red Robin.  The only problem is just a few weeks ago a dieting friend told me a horror story about a chicken wrap there that was around 1700 calories! I am not on a diet (although I really should be) but I couldn't help but look up different foods there!

We had tickets to the Grizzle Game.  We have never really been into hockey but it was still fun.  And who can complain about front row baby!

Until next time!

Get ready for laughter baby!

Here Comes the Bride!

No, we are not getting married again... but this last weekend I did get to feel like a bride!

The Bridal Showcase asked me and Emily if we would model wedding dresses for their fashion show.  We wore some really amazing, expensive dresses that were beyond beautiful!  And I can't say that I don't like people whistling at and clapping for me as I walk by!

Emily's cute in-laws came to see us for the first show... and both of our husbands came for the 4th.

A salon did our hair and make-up. At first they put these awful eyelashes on me.  They were so heavy I could barely keep my eyes open!

Kyle says they looked like caterpillars growing on my eyes.

But I looked better when they put on some lighter ones:

We each wore over a dozen dresses.  I was picked to be the first one to go out... When I got off stage it was run run run.  I had a dresser who literally ripped me out of the dress and threw another one over my head and I was running to get back on the run way!

The best part of the show was in between when I perused  the booths and ate gelato and cupcakes until my heart was content!

We also loved the photo booths!

I know--- the last picture of me is hot!

MoTab Concert

Cute Kristin and Mike (Kyle's parents who don't like me to call them Mom and Pa Summers or any similar variation) won the raffle for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Christmas Concert-- which is a huge hit every year.
They couldn't think of any better looking couple to go with than us!

We started out with a yummy dinner at the Olive Garden, where we learned this beautiful couple is making us an aunt and uncle again!

Brother-in-law Mark and his wife Jenelyn joined us for dinner.   They got really close seats at the concert... and kept saying how close they were to the prophet.  Mike, Kristin Kyle and I are so good we got to sit up in the expensive balcony seats.

I love the singing and dancing... I have to try out next year!

Thanks for taking us Pops and Ma!!

Its a Wonderful Life

After a ton of "hints", sweet Kyle surprised me with tickets to Odyssey Dance Theaters Its a Wonderful Life.  We had a great time at dinner and the show at Kinsburry Hall.

The dancers were amazingly talented... Kyle just wished there would have been words for him to follow along with!

I haven't been posting much... because I have been working so much!
Which isn't good... because I love to share my life with those who I love.
And I love everyone! (almost... working on it)

This past weekend I acquired tickets to The New Moon Experience basically it was an event for the Twilight Obsessed.  I got to take 3 of my cute girl friends...
before judging me in these pictures... let me tell you the story:

There were some girls in hair school there doing up-do's... we all told them to do our hair "funky"  I ended up with some Fergi braid... the other girls got ringlets!

This is all of us by "Bella's Truck" which was the coolest thing there!

Besides the photo booths:
No joke I felt Lind's teeth on my face!

We went over to Jordan Common's where, you can guess it... we took more pictures of our beautiful selves... and got our pictures done.

Kyle took Trax to meet up with us.  I was getting my make-up done to look like a vampire, so I didn't hear his calls.  He spent about a half hour in the cold... and then had to go to the midnight showing with this freak:  ( my cute friends made me the shirt)

Do I look like a vampire?

I loved the movie... Kyle even liked it.
But I would like it to be known that I am not a crazy... and that I was a Jacob Black girl the entire time (even before he took his shirt off)

Flagger Fball

We are so cool.  We played flag football on Saturday with BOYS and GIRLS!
I loved it.
We won 4 out of 6 games.
But that isn't so bad... really I have never played football.
I rock... if you need me to join your team I will.
(You can have kyle too... he is rockin fast)

((Don't worry we are married so Kyle CAN grab my bum!))

The Headband Bandit Cooks

I kidnapped my little sisters for some slave labor the other day.
I really like to do the once a month cooking.  And look we filled the freezer almost halfway!

(don't worry... in the last picture we are all trying to do an Amy face.))
Now if I can only get Kyle to take one out of the freezer and put it in the oven!

Witch Way

I can't believe I didn't say anything about WITCHAPALOOZA.
It was the cutest show at Gardner Village.
We celebrated my dads 596th Birthday and Kyles 238th.

Ryan even got some boa lovin'

I love the show Good Things Utah... and guess what... now I am a Good Things Girl!

No, I'm not hosting (I wish) but I am the new producer of the show and couldn't be more thrilled!

Right now this is a huge blessing to Kyle and I. I now will be working normal hours and with awesome people.  I will dearly miss my photographers but this is a great opportunity to produce an award winning show!

If anyone has any ideas for the show let me know!
KEEP WATCHING!

4,000,000 Legos

Legoland... a new adventure for both of us.
Tons of things made out of only legos

Kyle “loved” this little kids jeep ride. We were too big to ride together. One adult per car period. Even if we are cute.
We were so tired from walking all week.

Kyle is strong.

This pirates ride was the coolest. Everyone had a water shooting cannon to soak people with.

Kyle made us wait in the longest line in the world for this lame log ride.

Adventures in California

TOWER OF TERROR... a must for all persons.

This was basically our last ride... make it your first because it rocks your socks.

Lines for Mickey and Minnie pictures= too long.  Pluto=perfect

Emily is lucky... she got one with Cindy.

But we got Mayter

The Bugs Life show is super cute and full of suprises.

There was candycorn everywhere.

It was Kyle's best birthday ever... he got a new pet!
