We had been cutting and mixing and stirring forever...when I put the first meal in a ziplock and told her to zip it and put it in the freezer. She set it on the hot stove... lifted up and the red sauce went everywhere. I started laughing... and then crying.
Turns out we make almost 20 meals. I think I might try doing it again!
Oh yeah. and Kyle worked all day on my little brothers mission video. It turned out great!
SATURDAY:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
Dudes farewell was on Sunday so we tried to help as much as we could. We shopped, cut up fruit... gave my mom a makeover... set up a zillion chairs and such.
Kyle fixed my car so it passed the safety test!
And we went to to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse. It was fun but the ribs weren't that great. But the cute servers danced for us!
I thought it would be funny to take this picture:
SUNDAY-

So, crazy story.. I read your post yesterday about your car almost being stolen, told Mitch about it, he made the comment, "I wish someone would steal our car and total it so insurance could get us a new one", Mitch went out to our car to go to work, called me a minute later and told me, "our car was broken into!" Yeah, what a crazy coincidence! They broke our back window to get in, and stole his stereo. Luckily they didn't get his thousands of dollars worth of hockey sticks and skates sitting on the front seat!! Morons!! Anyways, I feel your pain!
As Bob and I were kneeling for prayers on Saturday I said "the 15th, someones birthday is today, who's is it?" YOURS!!! Happy belated Birthday Amanda. I didn't figure it out until I read your blog.
Sounds like you guys had a great time! We love going to all of those places, but too bad they cost so much with out discounts!
Honestly, that sounds like fun-sightseeing the place you live. Living in Utah my whole life and never going to half the stuff here kind of makes me sad. You've inspired me to tour my hometown. Sounds like you had a fun time...and sorry about your car:(
