Possibly my favorite national holiday! I mean who doesn't like the red, white and blue.
Kyle and I began I guess what would be our second 4th (but our first one married) with a wet dog jumping on our bed. We are dog sitting Lucy the cutest and most hyper french-bulldog you have ever seen I love her.
I heard her up and running around. What I didn't know was that she had been playing in the water hose, so I called her. Sure enough she came running and jumped up on our bed. I was laughing...Kyle disgusted. You can wash bedding no big.

Well we tried to get patrioltic with our clothing choices and went off to our ward breadfast. My cute little primary kids were adorable. One boy had his bike decked out seriously. He had streamer and balloons and get this he had one of those headband things with springs on it...and flags on the springs. So cute.
Amazing breakfast thanks to alot of hard work and we headed up to the East Millcreek parade. It wasn't a normal parade. No beauty queens but a lot of kids, bikes, dogs and homemade floats. One float which was a few wagons thrown together was a tribute to President Hinckley. They were all dressed up like bees. I really liked it and so did lucy. While we were walking to the parade lucy would try to eat everything rocks, branches, me she is nuts.
Kyle and I took stinky to the Murry celebration had a lil fun there and I went off to work and left him with my crazy family. But he got the good end of the deal. My dad made him lunch while I ate an old sloppy joe at the station because I left my juicy watermelon at home;(
